tennessee // the aquarium.

Late Friday night, my parents and I came back from our visit to Tennessee. Knowing that this would probably be my last time to go with them (because of university and such), they planned to take me to the Tennessee Aquarium, Ruby Falls, and Rock City. Have I ever mentioned how much I love my parents? They're amazing.

I've been to Ruby Falls and Rock City before, but when I was two or three, so I don't remember it. I had also been to the Aquarium, but really, that never gets old. We drove to Chattanooga, and got out of the car at the Aquarium. My heart started bouncing! I guess I'm a little kid at heart. I love that place.

When people ask me what my favourite part of the Aquarium is, I can't tell them. I could say that I love seeing the otters, but I love seeing the jellyfish, as well. The seahorses are gorgeous, and the frogs are too cute. Lets just say that I love every part of it.

I have to say, the Tennessee Aquarium will always be one of my most favourite places in the world. Hope you enjoyed this quick peek into my adventure there.

tagging along.

I'm not in Canada anymore. I'm in Tennessee until the 25th with my parents. Dadda is preaching revival here at the church, and Mama is speaking at a women's conference. So, I get to tag along. (My parents are much too sweet, by the way.) Tomorrow is going to be spent at the amazingly gorgeous Tennessee Aquarium, so you can expect to find some photo memories on the blog pretty soon.

In other random news, I have the cutest new pajama pants. Ha!

dear mama.

Mama,

There are times when I just can't get the right words out. I want to say something beautiful and eloquent, but being me, I just can't. But I want to tell you something: You truly inspire me. It sounds so clique to say, but you really do. Your job isn't easy. I'm sure there are days when you just want to pull your hair out, but you never let it bother you. You always have a gorgeous smile on your face. You are a Proverbs 31 wife and mother, you do what is best for your family, and you always stick beside your husband. You have a ministry that I admire--You feed people, and it blesses them so. I know there are times when you think that the extra meal you make for someone isn't that big of a deal, but it is. You are kind. Beyond kind.

Mother's Day is tomorrow, and I want to thank you. Thank you for watching Pride & Prejudice with me every second month. Thank you for praying for me when I speak about God to others. Thank you for listening to me when I babble on and on about my life. Thank you for experiencing Africa with me. Thank you for teaching me to become a woman of God. And, lastly, thank you for being you. You are an amazing person.

Love,

Your girl.

Ps. You will always, no matter how old I get, be my Mama.
